The Wet Sounds RECON 10 FA-BG is a 10-inch free-air marine subwoofer designed for high-output bass performance without the need for a traditional enclosure. Engineered for infinite baffle applications, it is ideal for installations in under-seat locations, compartments, or sealed cavities where the available space becomes the enclosure.
Built for marine and powersports environments, the RECON 10 FA-BG combines a rugged Nylas composite frame with an injection-molded composite cone for strength and stability under demanding conditions. A Santoprene spider delivers consistent suspension performance, helping maintain smooth, controlled low-frequency output over time.
The included XS-Black grille provides a clean, factory-style finish while protecting the subwoofer from impact and debris. Its low-profile design integrates seamlessly into a wide range of interior applications, making it a versatile solution for both OEM-style and custom builds.
This model is optimized specifically for free-air use, delivering tight, reliable bass that enhances overall system performance without the complexity of a dedicated enclosure.
Note: RECON grilles are not compatible with RGB Sub Grill Kits. For RGB lighting applications, REVO Series subwoofer grilles must be used.

What This Warranty Covers
This is a “limited” warranty. This warranty covers any defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable. This warranty is valid only if the original purchase was made from an authorized Wet Sounds dealer.
How Long Coverage Lasts
This warranty lasts for 2 years from the date of purchase. It is recommended to document your product serial number and retain your receipt. These documents are required to verify your warranty coverage and expiration.
What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover fading or discoloration caused by exposure to sunlight or chemicals such as ammonia, household bleach, or any cleaning materials that contain abrasive substances. Wet Sounds, Inc. does not cover expenses for removal or reinstallation. Additionally, shipping to Wet Sounds, Inc. must be paid by the purchaser.
This warranty is void and inapplicable if Wet Sounds determines that the product has been abused or misused, including but not limited to damage caused by accident, mishandling, improper installation, removal of the inline fuse on the power connection, negligence, normal wear and tear, excessive water or heat damage, freight or shipping damage, or products that have been disassembled by anyone other than Wet Sounds technical staff.
Wet Sounds will not be responsible for any incidental or consequential damages, except to the extent provided or prohibited by applicable law. This warranty gives you specific rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
What Wet Sounds, Inc. Will Do
Wet Sounds, Inc. will repair any part of your product that proves to be defective in materials or workmanship. If repair is not possible, Wet Sounds will replace the product. If deemed necessary, Wet Sounds, Inc. will replace the entire product with a refurbished unit, or with a model of similar value if the original model is no longer available.
Labor costs and materials required to complete this service will be provided at no charge to the purchaser. Additionally, return shipping from Wet Sounds, Inc. to the purchaser will be paid by Wet Sounds.
