The Wet Sounds WS-420 SQ Marine Multi-Zone 4-Band Parametric Equalizer is a purpose-built marine audio zone controller designed to deliver precise, flexible control over complex boat audio systems. Built around a half-DIN chassis, it provides independent control of tower speakers, in-boat speakers, and subwoofers, along with dedicated EQ shaping for both tower and cabin zones.
At its core, the WS-420 SQ features a dual equalizer architecture with two independent 4-band parametric EQ sections. This allows separate tuning for tower and in-boat speaker zones, each offering up to 12 dB of cut or boost per band for detailed system shaping and optimization.
A large master volume knob provides fast overall system control, while separate zone level controls allow users to balance tower, in-boat, and subwoofer output independently. This makes it possible to run multiple listening configurations, including tower-only riding setups, in-boat cruising setups, or full system playback with custom balance between zones.
The integrated talk-back microphone system enables rider communication by muting tower audio during use and routing voice through the tower speakers as a PA system. Microphone gain is independently adjustable, ensuring clear communication without affecting music levels. Once released, audio resumes at the previous volume setting.
The WS-420 SQ also includes Wet Sounds Boat Link™ functionality, allowing multiple compatible systems to connect via the optional A-Link® Kit for synchronized audio experiences across boats.
Additional system flexibility includes auxiliary input switching, gain adjustments for input sources, and a 3.5mm auxiliary input for external devices. Illumination settings allow selectable color output, and ground isolation options help eliminate potential alternator noise in complex electrical systems.

What This Warranty Covers
This is a “limited” warranty. This warranty covers any defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable. This warranty is valid only if the original purchase was made from an authorized Wet Sounds dealer.
How Long Coverage Lasts
This warranty lasts for 2 years from the date of purchase. It is recommended to document your product serial number and retain your receipt. These documents are required to verify your warranty coverage and expiration.
What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover fading or discoloration caused by exposure to sunlight or chemicals such as ammonia, household bleach, or any cleaning materials that contain abrasive substances. Wet Sounds, Inc. does not cover expenses for removal or reinstallation. Additionally, shipping to Wet Sounds, Inc. must be paid by the purchaser.
This warranty is void and inapplicable if Wet Sounds determines that the product has been abused or misused, including but not limited to damage caused by accident, mishandling, improper installation, removal of the inline fuse on the power connection, negligence, normal wear and tear, excessive water or heat damage, freight or shipping damage, or products that have been disassembled by anyone other than Wet Sounds technical staff.
Wet Sounds will not be responsible for any incidental or consequential damages, except to the extent provided or prohibited by applicable law. This warranty gives you specific rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
What Wet Sounds, Inc. Will Do
Wet Sounds, Inc. will repair any part of your product that proves to be defective in materials or workmanship. If repair is not possible, Wet Sounds will replace the product. If deemed necessary, Wet Sounds, Inc. will replace the entire product with a refurbished unit, or with a model of similar value if the original model is no longer available.
Labor costs and materials required to complete this service will be provided at no charge to the purchaser. Additionally, return shipping from Wet Sounds, Inc. to the purchaser will be paid by Wet Sounds.
